ROTOMOULDING MOULDS

Roto Moulding Moulds

Rotational moulding is one of the vastly developing plastic product-making processes in the world today. It is a very simple process for manufacturing hollow plastic products mainly water storage tanks.

Rotational moulding consists of the following simple process.

Firstly roto moulded grade polymer powder is filled in the mould manually and then the mould will be closed. Later on, the mould is then shifted to the heating oven. In the oven, the mould is heated by forced hot air circulation. Simultaneously it is also rotated about two perpendicular axes along with heating in the oven. So due to heating the powder now melts and forms a homogenous layer inside the mould.

Further, the mould will be carried forward to a cooling station where air cools the mould lastly the mould will open and the product part will bring outside.

To obtain the desired quality product, the selection of a quality powdered roto moulding grade LLDPE is the heart of the rotational moulding process. LLDPE powder is the most vastly used raw material for the Rotational moulding process.

To make different colored water tanks we require that colored LLDPE powder to compound masterbatch and color on Virgin granules we also provide an extruder machine for that and we also manufacture the uniquely designed Pulverizer machine to fulfill your requirement of quality LLDPE powder so we are one stop solution for your Roto molding machine and it’s ancillary equipment.

As the name indicates, rotational moulding machines are responsible for making some plastics products. The machine consists of a heated hollow mould which is usually filled with a charged or shotted powder material. The machine is then slowly rotated. This causes the soft material inside to disperse and stick to the walls of the machine uniformly. In order to ensure even thickness, the moulding machine is kept rotating at all times while heating and cooling. This ensures that there is no lagging or deformation during the cooling process.
